OK, call me sheltered. Call me what you wish but I tell ya I’ve never until recently heard of a nurse or doctor asking anyone in the physician’s office if they own a gun. My wife has heard of this before. What the hell? What do guns and a persons medical condition have to do with each other? Answer: Nothing.
I have been accused of having conspiratorial thoughts before. Big deal, kiss my butt. There is something so far off frequency about posing such a question in such a place that it begs for the asking of questions regarding the origins of said question. I submit here that this has everything to do with the gun grabber lobbyists.
You know them, those cowards who fear weapons and fear that every person who owns a weapon is a mad man or woman without any possibility of them being incorrect. They always know whats best for you and me and everyone else of course, right? Bunk! Understand that guns don’t kill, people kill with guns.
Outlawing Lawful Ownership?
Outlawing guns would also have to logically include the outlaw of knives, forks, or any other object that could be used to penetrate to kill or kill with blunt force trauma to the body. Outlaw guns, and only outlaws will have them (besides the police). You can never legislate “common sense”, but then… Have a look at Washington.
I’m not playing into clinched fists of the gun grabber lobby. I am stating that I believe it’s a damn good thing that at least some of us who own a gun of any design have had at least some manner of training in the safe handling and use of said firearm. I have solid safety and shooting practices and have been a gun owner for about two years now and very much enjoy shooting as well as having a concealed carry license.
You never know who in your local Wal Mart store is packing a concealed pistol or revolver in a specially designed pocket holster to remove the image of a gun in the pocket. Some day you might thank an ordinary citizen for having carried that weapon. More so if it were your ass that is still alive and kickin’…
